Glass Science and Technology

We study the composition-structure-property relationships of oxide glasses and design glasses and related materials for a variety of engineering applications, including electronic, optical, mechanical, chemical, and biomedical. Research has been sponsored by a variety of federal agencies, including the National Science Foundation, the Department of Energy, the National Institutes of Health, and the national labs, as well as industry.
