Alumni of the Research Group

Murat was a visiting professor from Eastern Mediterranean University. He was working on glass-ceramic seals and corrosion resistant boro-aluminate glasses.

 

"Mr. Burns" was a visiting professor from Kent University. While here he worked on IR and Raman spectroscopy of Nd phosphates and borates.
Now Dr. Click, Carol just finished defending her PhD thesis on the effects of platinum in phosphate laser glass. She is currently working for Schott Glass.
 
 
Jessica graduated in May 2002 with a masters degree. Her work involved the study of the dissolution properties of phosphate and borate glasses.
 
Heather also graduated in May 2002 with a masters degree. Her work was mainly on the dissolution properties of borate and silicate based bio-glasses.
Andy graduated in August 2002 with a masters degree. His work was on the properties of binary Nd-phosphate glasses. He is currently continuing his education in electrical engineering.
Adam graduated in Dec 2003 with a masters degree and is currently working for Boeing on glass reinforced insulating tiles.
Kristy graduated in Dec 2003 with a masters degree after working on glass seals to be used in the automotive industry.
