Through Missouri S&T's Career Opportunities Center (COC), you will have an opportunity to learn outside the classroom in a real work situation.Each year, appproximately 500 students participate in Missouri S&T's co-op and internship programs by going to work fo more than 150 employers nationwide.Not only do students get on-the-job experience through co-ops and internships - many of these postions result in full-time job offers for students after graduation. Materials Science and Engineering students have worked for Boeing, Delphi, Nucor, Sandia National Labs, General Electric Aircraft Engines and many other companies and labs in the United States and abroad.
